The Kramer VS-42HDCP is a professional 4x2 DVI matrix switcher designed for reliable routing of DVI/HDMI signals in live event and presentation environments. HDCP compliant and built with Kramer’s Equalisation & Re-Klocking™ technology, it rebuilds and stabilises digital signals to ensure clean, consistent output even over longer cable runs.
The unit supports a max data rate of 6.75Gbps (2.25Gbps per channel) and is compatible with Deep Color, x.v.Color™ and 3D pass-through. Any of the four DVI/HDMI inputs can be routed to either or both outputs, making it suitable for dual-screen setups, mirrored displays or independent routing.
With flexible control options, including front panel, IR, RS-232, Ethernet and Kramer’s Windows-based software tools - the VS-42HDCP integrates easily into show control systems and operator workflows. Additional features include 7.1 multi-channel audio support and a front panel lockout to protect live switching during shows.
